Battledots ist ein rasantes Mobile Game, bei dem man strategisch die gegnerische Basis angreift und gleichzeitig seine Eigene verteidigen muss. Mittel zum Angriff und zur Verteidigung sind die namensgebenden „Dots“ mit vielen verschiedenen Fähigkeiten.
The various skills of the little dots presented us with big challenges. As the game is very fast the player is always confronted with sounds. According to this the sound effects must not be too obtrusive but also give concrete feedback to the player. Our solution was to design the sounds very organic. Sounds which are based on things you’ve recorded in reality are often much softer and more transparent than sounds which were created artificially. Because of many „pops “and „plops “ in the game we often stood in front of the microphone by ourselves.
